To raise funds for our 2016 exhibition called “Unknown”, each student was asked to submit at least one piece to be exhibited and (hopefully) sold. The theme for the show was exploration and many of my class mates were designing pieces featuring space and travel so I decided to go a different direction. I used the day in the life of my (then 3 year old) niece as my inspiration. The explorations of children are often quite fun and different to that of adults. I decided to make some mini books that would be a sort of guide, “a quirky way to explore your day”.
