As part of an assignment at NMT (North Metro Tafe) I was to design a poster for Red Party a non-profit organisation. They hold a yearly party to raise money for AIDS. They have a very strong theme of red and their party theme for this year was Moulin Rouge. There were some restrictions as far as image content as they didn’t want the posters to send out a message of sex, drugs and alcohol that is also associated with the moulin rouge theme. They wanted the more bohemian party feel.
